Florida beaches reopened after shark closures; thousands migrating through waters

PALM BEACH, Fla. - Several South Florida beaches have reopened after the migration of thousands of sharks led to precautionary closures.

The Palm Beach Post (http://bit.ly/Z1BWdS ) reports three Palm Beach County beaches reopened Thursday, though unseasonably chilly temperatures likely will keep most swimmers away anyway.

Intermittent closures are still possible. When sharks are spotted near shore, lifeguards close beaches for at least a half-hour.
