Late snowfall allows Snowshoe Mountain to extend ski season until March 31
SNOWSHOE, W.Va. - Ski enthusiasts can continue hitting the slopes at Snowshoe Mountain until the end of the month.
The Pocahontas County resort announced Tuesday that it's extending the ski season until March 31.
Snowshoe attributes the extra skiing to significant late season snowfall, including more than 3 feet of snow in February.
