Mayan Riviera, here comes Audrey

  • Print
If you have to be good to be lucky, then Audrey Veitch is a saint.

Audrey entered our Great Winter Escape Contest just once. And she's our grand prize winner.

This winter, the retired licenced practical nurse will be enjoying an all-expenses-paid, one-week vacation (for two) on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, courtesy of Signature Vacations and Karisma's five-star El Dorado Royale spa resort, a Signature destination.

Is she the type who easily wins contests? "Never," she said. But, "I certainly do love to travel." She plans to take one of her daughters.

Here's what Audrey has won: limo service to and from Winnipeg airport from Crown Limosine Service; a week in a Jacuzzi junior suite at the El Dorado Royale, including the resort's all-inclusive amenities; a set of luggage from Journeys Travel and Leisure SuperCentre (Donald Street and Wardlaw Avenue); and a $200 gift certificate from SpaLifestyle and Fashion Boutique, 2001 Henderson Hwy.

And because Audrey is a seven-day Free Press home subscriber, she also receives a $500 gift voucher from Journeys.

And congratulations to our final weekly prize winner, Greg Skinner of Southbend Crescent in Winnipeg. He wins a $100 gift certificate to Ten Spa, the luxurious, full-service spa in the Fort Garry Hotel, and a $100 gift certificate to Dacquisto Restaurant, 17115 Kenaston Blvd.

The Winnipeg Free Press, Signature Vacations, Journeys and all our sponsors thank the tens of thousands of readers who entered the Great Winter Escape Contest. Next year could be your turn.
