They went from worst to first and two days after a Grey Cup loss it’s down to business for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The cleaning business that is.
The players cleared out their lockers Tuesday morning. It’s the last time the old change room will get the annual cleanup, as the team moves over to its new 33,000-seat digs for the 2012 season. The mood in the room was sombre as cleats were put away and parting words said.
The players looked ahead to the off-season, and what the future will hold. Starting quarterback Buck Pierce is a free agent, while veteran player Doug Brown has said the 2011 season is his last.
