Canadian Satellite Radio gets five-year deal for Chrysler to install SiriusXM

TORONTO - Chrysler Canada has agreed to factory-install SiriusXM commercial-free satellite radios into an unspecified number of vehicles over the next five years.

Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. (TSX:XSR) says Chrysler Canada will include pre-paid 12-month subscriptions to SiriusXM radio.

The Toronto-based broadcaster has long counted automakers as allies in its effort to build a customer base for its subscription-based radio services.

CSR doesn't say how much revenue it expects to receive from the Chrysler Canada deal or how many radios it expects the automaker to install.
