Shaun White Biography: Olympic Snowboarder's Life and Career
Born September 3rd, 1986 in San Diego, California, Shaun White overcame health problems early to become an avid athlete in his youth. He finally settled on snowboarding, and quickly excelled past his older siblings and friends to be one of the sports fastest rising young stars. Pretty soon, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk took him under his wing, and White was skating and snowboarding professionally. A trip to the Olympics was finally in the cards for this phenom in 2006, where he took the gold and became the face of the U.S. Olympic Team.
