About the Canucks
— The Canucks roll into Winnipeg Sunday for the second of back-to-back road games after suiting up Saturday in Saint Paul, Minn., for an afternoon date with the Wild.
— Vancouver (29-35-9 prior to Saturday’s game) is playing out a season to be forgotten, sitting fourth-last in the NHL in points (67) heading into Friday’s games.
— C Bo Horvat leads Vancouver in scoring with 47 points and goals (20) in 72 games, followed by longtime Canucks mainstays C Henrik Sedin (45 points, 15 goals) and W Daniel Sedin (40 points, 14 goals).
— The veteran goaltending duo of Ryan Miller and Jacob Markstrom also have had little to cheer about prior to the weekend, with Miller posting a 18-23-6 record, 2.79 GAA and .915 save percentage and Markstrom at 10-11-3, 2.63 GAA, .910.
