One of two women stabbed outside a rooming house suite in the Spence neighbourhood last week has succumbed to her injuries.

Winnipeg police said on Monday that Angel Beaulieu, 22, has died from her injuries.

Beaulieu was stabbed in the lower body during an incident in the 400 block of Furby Street last Thursday at about 5:45 p.m. She was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Police said another adult woman, who was stabbed in the upper body, was taken to hospital, but was treated and later released.
