Hey there, time traveller!

Tool, the Los Angeles metal band that has picked up four Grammy Awards since forming in 1990, plays the Canada Life Centre Oct. 29.
Tickets go on sale June 9 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster, however there is a fan-club pre-sale scheduled for June 8. Prices were not announced.
While the group earned its first Grammy for the 1998 album Ænima and rose to prominence during the 1990s grunge era, it was 2001’s Lateralus that earned Tool its first No. 1 album. The group marked its 30th anniversary with a reimagining of Opiate, the title track from their debut EP.

The last time Tool played Winnipeg was 2010, however, a show booked for the downtown arena in 2020 was a casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic.
