Tracy K
After more than a decade away from the Winnipeg area, the Beausejour-based blues singer-songwriter Tracy K is back in town and will be celebrating the release of her fourth studio album, What’s the Rush?, Friday, Sept. 9, at the Pyramid Cabaret.
Tracy K has logged more than 30 years of experience, working as a solo artist, in a duo and as part of a group, and has accumulated numerous awards for her vocal finesse as well as her expert harmonica playing.
Her new album was recorded in Winnipeg at Bedside Studios, and the title, What’s the Rush?, is a brief yet accurate description of the way Tracy K. lives her life and makes her music — the “go with the flow” kind of way, because things don’t always go as planned.
Tickets for the album release show are $10 at the door, and music starts at 8 p.m.
