MOON ALERT Caution: Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 7 a.m. until 8:45 p.m. (Yikes!) After that the moon moves so Scorpio and Sagittarius.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

This is a goofy day -- the lull after the storm. People are doing whatever they can to catch their breath and realize they survived yesterday's full moon. Be careful with decisions about shared property or how to divide something because you're feeling "perdy" generous.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Well, you've weathered the storm. It's almost a feeling of giddy relief. Try to relax and enjoy this day. It's a poor day for major expenditures or important decisions. Just enjoy good food and drink.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You might go overboard eating sweets or indulging yourself today because of a feeling of having survived yesterday's full moon. (Or you might be entirely sensible.) Whatever happens, just coast today. Attend to little matters, if you feel the need to get better organized. Don't do too much.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You might want to party your face off, because you have this sense of relief of having survived yesterday's full moon. This is understandable. (It's easy to reach excess without noticing that you've passed through satisfaction.) Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You might be tempted to go overboard at home today or with a family member. "Fresh horses and whiskey for my men!" Perhaps you should rein it in a little? Don't do anything you'll regret later. And be totally careful about spending money today.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Think twice before you make promises or you agree to do anything. You might bite off more than you can chew. Guard against your impulse to serve others. Why not just serve yourself today? You deserve a break after surviving yesterday's hairy full moon.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Don't go overboard with your money today. Don't give it away. Don't spend it. Don't even pay too many bills. Best to do nothing. Frankly, you're in a bit of a fog and this fogginess could get you in financial trouble. Easy does it.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Congratulations. You survived the only full moon in your sign all year. Don't even bother picking up the pieces today. Just stay in bed. (Which, I realize, very few can do, so I'm speaking metaphorically.) Avoid aggressive people and pamper yourself as best you can.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Resist the urge to run around doing errands, trying to get better organized. You deserve a rest! Please yourself first (in a nice, easygoing way). But be careful about overdoing desserts and sweets. But do pamper yourself and take it easy today. (No get-rich-quick schemes.)

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Enjoy playful activities with children, the arts, romantic liaisons, sports events, vacations, parties and good times. Yay! Be careful how you spend your money today. Don't shop for expensive items. Pull in your reins and enjoy this day in a way that makes you feel comfortable and safe.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

"And did those feet in ancient times" survive a full moon like yesterday? Of course! Countless times. Therefore, do not go overboard, especially at home or with family members, just because you feel relieved. (Although I know it's a temptation.) Just take it easy today and don't spend money.

PISCES (Feb. 19-Mar. 20)

Don't make promises you can't deliver later. You definitely feel a sense of largesse and an urge to do things in broad strokes today. Therefore, don't go shopping. (Not in person or online.) Think twice before you promise anything to anyone. Go gently, gently.

Actor George Clooney (1961) shares your birthday. You are an idealist and a humanitarian, if you have the opportunity. You have solid values and you care for the welfare of others as well as your own. You're very aware that what you do (or not) contributes to your own sense of self-respect. In the year ahead, you'll have an opportunity to study or learn something important. Be open to this.
