FOUR diligent, hard-working and now-fitter pets and their Free Press-reading owners have received $250 gift certificates from Pet Valu in our Fit Pet Challenge. The winners are:

-- Teddy, a 10-year-old Bichon Frisé who has struggled with many health issues, owned by Penny and Ron Maletic of Winnipeg.

-- Ethan, who owner Kelley Rutkair, of Argyle, adopted last year from Manitoba Pug Rescue, which had rescued him from a puppy mill.

-- Hobbes, a.k.a. Hobbezilla, a nod to his size, a 10-year-old tabby cat owned by Leigh Patterson of Winnipeg.
