Wade Miller

President and CEO, Winnipeg Football Club

"After accepting my new role with the Winnipeg Football Club, a friend of mine recommended I read a book called Traction. Written by Gino Wickman, an entrepreneur, the book provides lessons not only for entrepreneurs but for leaders running small- and medium-sized businesses. He applies many concepts from other business authors such as Jim Collins and Pat Lencioni. Wickman provides a model for running your business called the EOS System that has six key components (vision, people, data, issues, process and traction components). He shows how, by focusing on strengthening those six components, you can build a great organization."
