BIG Time Rush is making the leap from television to arenas.

The boy band created for the Nickelodeon TV series Big Time Rush is embarking on a 50-date North American tour with a stop at the MTS Centre set for Sept. 10. Tickets go on sale March 10 but prices weren’t announced Monday.

Australia’s Cody Simpson is opening all dates of the Big Time Summer Tour.

The television series Big Time Rush debuted in 2009 and aired in Canada on YTV. The titular band has released two albums in the past two years.
