A group of local musicians has written a song to help K.I.D.S.

The song Just Believe in Me will be released Monday with all proceeds from sales of the single being donated to the Kenya Initiative for Development & Sustainability (K.I.D.S.), a local organization founded by Cat Ross to help promote development and educational programs in the African country.

The track was written by Winnipeg musicians James Roth, Curtis Paull and producer Michael Daher, who have dubbed themselves Starry Skies Collide, and includes guest appearances by numerous other local artists, including Flo, Keith and Renee, Ken Tizzard and Bubba B. the M.C.

Just Believe in Me will debut Monday morning on 103.1 Virgin Radio during the Ace Burpee Show. The song will then be available for sale on iTunes with all proceeds donated to K.I.D.S. A video for the song shot in Winnipeg and Kenya by Jamie Korstrom will be posted on YouTube at the same time.
