Manitoba’s music community will once again hurry hard for a good cause.

Manitoba Music and Manitoba Film & Music are joining forces for the fourth-annual Manitoba Music Rocks Charity Bonspiel, which will take place at the Granite Curling Club on Feb. 2, 2014.

The event, which sold out quickly last year, raises funds and awareness for the Unison Benevolent Fund, an assistance and referral program designed to provide discreet relief to music industry personnel in times of personal hardship and crisis.

The bonspiel has raised over $10,000 for the Unison fund over its three-year history.

Registration is now open to curlers of all skill levels. Cost is $40 per person ($160 per team) and includes curling, dinner and tuque.

To register, call 204-942-8650 or email curling@manitobamusic.com.
