Chart-topping country stars Brad Paisley, Jake Owen and Brantley Gilbert will be among the mainstage performers at the 2015 edition of Dauphin’s Countryfest, which runs June 25 to 28.

The first round of artists announced also includes local blues boys (and recent Western Canadian Music Award winners) The Perpetrators and Regina’s The Dead South. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

“We just celebrated our 25th anniversary, and are kicking off our next 25 years by featuring the next group of great country stars,” Eric Irwin, president of Dauphin’s Countryfest, is quoted as saying in a press release. “At previous festivals, we’ve introduced acts such as Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, and Florida Georgia Line to Canadian audiences, and these artists have helped build a bright future for the festival.”
