Sagkeeng First Nation country artist Ali Fontaine, a two-time winner at the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards, will be one of the musical headliners during Aboriginal Music Week in August.
Fontaine, along with Saskatchewan rock group Black Rain and Montreal singer Mariame, will perform at the Aboriginal Music Week Stage at the Austin Street Festival on Aug. 21.

The outdoor stage, which will be set up on Austin Street between Euclid and Selkirk avenues, is a partnership between Aboriginal Music Manitoba and the North Point Douglas Women’s Centre.
Aboriginal Music Week takes place from Aug. 18-22.
