Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings will play to a hometown crowd during an extensive multi-country reunion tour this summer.
Bachman’s manager, Gilles Paquin, confirmed Friday that Winnipeg is among the 18 to 20 Canadian stops on the tour.
"Of course," said the chief executive officer and president of Paquin Entertainment Group.
The tour will also include shows in the United States, and Paquin hasn’t ruled out visits to other countries.
"At this point it’s North America. It's not going to be Europe, but it could probably be other places," he said.
The idea for the reunion tour came after the Guess Who frontmen played together for the first time in more than a decade at a benefit concert in Toronto last July.
"They’d only talked probably once or twice… in that period of time and they walked into rehearsal the day before and musically it just felt so natural and comfortable," Paquin said. "We knew right at rehearsal that this wasn’t going to stop."
After weeks of online speculation, Bachman took to Twitter on Thursday night to confirm that the former bandmates were indeed getting back together for a 2020 tour.

"I wanna hear you make some noise… Because Burton Cummings and I are reuniting for a string of concert dates this summer!" read the post, in part.
Fans can expect the setlist to include hits from the Guess Who era, Bachman-Turner Overdrive and the artists’ solo careers.
Specifics around dates and ticket prices remain a mystery, but Paquin said a formal tour announcement is expected in a few weeks.
