Two concerts by Canadian rock standbys have been booked for the Burton Cummings Theatre for next February and March.
Matthew Good plays the downtown concert venue on Feb. 28 and Blackie and the Rodeo Kings have set up a March 4 date at the Burt as well.
Tickets for both concerts go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster. Good’s tickets range in price from $30 to $55 plus fees, while tickets for the Rodeo Kings sell for $25-$45 plus fees.
Good looks back at his album Beautiful Midnight with a new EP, I Miss New Wave: Beautiful Midnight Revisited, and a release says he will perform the 2000 record in its entirety during his cross-Canada tour.
Blackie and the Rodeo Kings — blues veterans Colin Linden, Tom Wilson and Stephen Fearing — will be promoting their latest album, Kings and Kings, which includes collaborations with Rodney Crowell and Bruce Cockburn.
