Roseanne Barr, who began her career as a standup comedian before starring in the landmark sitcom Roseanne, has returned to the stage and performs the Club Regent Event Centre Sept. 8.
Tickets, which range in price from $47.25 to $68.25 plus fees, go on sale April 7 at Ticketmaster.
Since Roseanne's nine-season run, Barr has guest-starred on several shows and been a judge on NBC's Last Comic Standing. She has also written three books: Roseanne: My Life as a Woman; My Lives; and Roseannarchy: Dispatches From the Nut Farm.
The Cult, known for its 1985 hit She Sells Sanctuary, has a new album out, Hidden City, and is also playing the Transcona casino, on July 15. Tickets also go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 7, and range in price from $47.25 to $78.75, plus fees.
