Winnipeg musicians and city slam poets will share the West End Cultural Centre stage for Folk 'N' Word, an evening that will showcase the two different artistic styles, on May 30.
Six poets -- Steve Locke, Mona Faith Mousa, Aaron Simm, Rob Malo (a.k.a. Tibert le Voyageur), Chimwemwe Undi and Mira Black -- will be performing their works with the Mariachi Ghost, Hearing Trees, Micah Erenberg and Matt Moskal.
Tickets, available through the WECC, Ticketmaster, Music Trader and the Winnipeg Folk Festival Music Store, sell for $12 in advance and $17 at the door.
