Theatre & Arts
Métis artist Julie Nagam offers hope in an era of global environmental crisis by pointing to Indigenous knowledge of the land with her multi-media art installation. In this exhibit, she brings paintings to life via digital technologies as moving image projections. Magical elements of indigenous plants are invoked to remind us of their healing qualities during our coldest months. Resilient fireweed sprouts from the earth and tobacco root sways in the wind.
