Ruh roh! Are you following these pups with recognizable owners on Instagram? If not, you’re missing out on an off-the-charts amount of delight provided by the four-legged fur babies. Even science basically says so.
After conducting an informal experiment, University of British Columbia professor Stanley Coren found "just looking at a dog can make you smile." He wrote in 2016 that 74 per cent of people smiled when they saw his dog in the window.
We’d bet the following pooches would get a similar response. In fact, they might be in danger of being in trouble with the paw-lice for being too doggone cute!
Mark Wahlberg’s dog @champeranian
Wahlberg and family have a new addition to their household. Since Champ Da Pom’s debut post on Dec. 6, the animal has adorably showed off his new shark pajamas, hit the park (as seen in the picture above) and been gifted a "Chewy Vuiton" dog toy.
Lady Gaga’s dog @missasiaxoxo
In late December, this little monster came back from a long paws of posting to the ‘gram. Sitting in Santa’s lap, surrounded by other French bulldogs, the famous pet wished followers: "Happy Holidays from me and my squad!"
Nick Jonas’ dog @ginothegerman
The Jonas clan welcomed another four-legged family member in November. The Only Human singer’s wife, Priyanka Chopra, surprised him with the German shepherd in bed, while he was still asleep. "I haven’t stopped smiling since I woke up this morning and finally realized what was going on," Jonas shared with Instagram followers.
Priyanka Chopra’s dog @diariesofdiana
Looks like alliteration runs in the family! Diana is a pet with a sense of humour and plenty of sass. When she isn’t "#LivingMyBestLife," she’s looking cute and cosy, sometimes in the laps of her famous mom and dad, which she knows to be "the best seat in the house!"
Taraji P. Henson’s dog @kballhenson
K-Ball’s’s adorable face could launch an Empire. The petite, steel-coat Frenchie is no stranger to fabulous fashion and costumes, life on set, or lounging.
Katie Lee’s dog @littlebuddygus
Gus the Chihuahua, the fur baby of The Kitchen co-host Katie Lee and her husband, producer Ryan Biegel, is always serving cuteness on the IG. While he looks precious in knit sweaters, his best look might be his turkey leg headband.
Our tails would be wagging if these celebrity pet accounts would post more:
The Biebers’ dog @oskietheposkie
While Justin and Hailey Biebers’ pooch hasn’t posted since October, Oskie offers his 1 million followers plenty of pics that’ll make them say, "O-M-G, aren’t you just the cutest?!"
Katy Perry’s dog @missnuggetperry
The chestnut canine’s last Instagram posted in September, but Nugget’s teddy-bearlike coat has us hoping the dog’s love for the ‘gram is "Never Really Over."
Andy Cohen’s dog @therealwacha
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host has the "cutest baby alive" according to People, and he has a pretty cute dog, too! We’re not sure what Wacha has been up to since his last post in October, but we’re sure if you asked, he’d "Plead the Fifth."
