WINNIPEG – Arson is suspected in a blaze today that damaged a million-dollar house under construction in the city’s southeast.
Firefighters said the house, in the 700 block of John Bruce Road East was already three-quarters involved in flames when they arrived just before 3 a.m. The house was being constructed by Hilton Homes.
No one was injured, but firefighters said they evacuated three people and two dogs from a neighbouring house as a precaution.
