WINNIPEG – A local furniture icon wants you to “come on down” to the Winnipeg Humane Society and pick up a cat.
Andy Hill, the number one son from Kern Hill Furniture, spoofed his famous commercials to help the WHS cope with a plethora of cats.
At the same time, the WHS is launching Whisker Wednesdays. That’s an event on the last Wednesday evening of every month where the cat adoption fee is only $25.
The promotions kicks off tonight with a “paw-jama party” where staff will be wearing their nightwear and hope visitors will too.
Visit the WHS at 45 Hurst Way just off Waverley Street or online at www.winnipeghumanesociety.ca for more information.
