WINNIPEG — A foxy fashion show is enlisting the help of some local celebrities to raise money for a good cause.

Winnipeg Jets wives and girlfriends, including Brandy Ladd, will be on-hand for the Romantic Whispers lingerie fashion show on Feb. 6.

The Fairmont Hotel event, which will feature sassy underthings from The Foxy Shoppe, will raise money for Ovarian Cancer Canada. Organizers say they hope to raise awareness of ovarian cancer, and raise money to help improve screening methods.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at The Foxy Shoppe, the Mercantile store at Red River College on Princess Street, or by emailing whispers.romantic@gmail.com. Tickets can also be ordered by phone at 204-996-8679.
