The TransCanada Highway has been reopened west of Falcon Lake following a vehicle fire Monday afternoon.

Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation issued a news release warning of the closure of the westbound lanes of Highway 1 just east of Highway 308 — about 20 kilometres west of Falcon Lake, Man. — because there was no detour around the scene.

The scene was cleared and the lanes were reopened Monday evening.

For current highway conditions, call 511, visit www.mb511.ca or on Twitter @MBGovRoads.
