The Table for 1201 event will be held May 23, with chefs Ben Kramer and Mandel Hitzer, along with logistics maestro Joe Kalturnyk, and their respective crews from Diversity Food Services, deer+almond and RAW:Gallery. Last year’s dinner on the Riel Esplanade was the first of its kind here, and was open to only 1,200 people.

Proceeds go to Storefront Manitoba, which promotes architecture and design.

No date has yet been made available for purchasing tickets, but details of the dinner are available at tablefor1201.ca.

Jason Halstead / Winnipeg Free Press Diners enjoy themselves at the Table for 1200 event on the Esplanade Riel Bridge on May 31, 2014.
