A 33-year-old woman, who went missing in the area of the Whiteshell Provincial Park after she did not return from a hike Thursday, was found.
RCMP say the woman was found to have mild hypothermia.
RCMP Search and Rescue, the Office of the Fire Commissioner and Search and Rescue Manitoba were with her Friday afternoon.
Falcon Lake RCMP were notified Thursday at about 7:20 p.m. that the woman, whose name and photograph have not been released, was due back Thursday afternoon and had not yet returned.
Police said Friday that the woman’s plans were to hike the Mantario Trail to Mantario Lake to camp for the night Wednesday and to return Thursday afternoon.
Police said further details will be provided
