MILWAUKEE — Kiefer Sherwood’s second goal of the AHL playoffs at 15:49 of the second period turned out to be the winner as the Milwaukee Admirals earned a 5-3 triumph over the Manitoba Moose before 3,617 fans at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Friday night.

Zach Sanford, Joakim Kemell and Austin Rueschhoff also scored for the hosts, who evened the best-of-five Central Division semifinal at 2-2.

Game 5 will be played in Milwaukee Saturday at 6 p.m.

Adam Wilsby was credited with a goal late in the first period to give Milwaukee a 2-1 lead, coming on a sequence when the Moose inadvertently directed the puck into their own net on a delayed Admirals penalty and Manitoba goaltender Oskari Salminen on the bench in favour of an extra attacker.

Greg Meireles, Jansen Harkins and Wyatt Bongiovanni replied with goals for the visitors.

Yaroslav Askarov made 16 saves in the Milwaukee net. Manitoba’s Salminen stopped 23 shots.
