Henderson Highway reopens after crash

Police lifted traffic restrictions, reopening northbound lanes Henderson Highway through East Kildonan early Saturday afternoon.

Police blocked northbound Henderson Highway between Roberta and Leighton avenues most of the morning after a crash that sent two people to hospital and knocked down a light standard.

Winnipeg police had been on the scene of the two-car collision since just before 8 a.m.

Both people reported injured were in stable condition, police said Saturday morning.
