Winnipeg Goldeyes players and city libraries are teaming up today and Wednesday to promote children’s literacy and the library’s TD Summer Reading Club.
Goldeyes players will be at nine different branches to read stories, answer questions and sign autographs.
Today, the players will visit branches at Ft. Garry, Louis Riel, Sir William Stephenson, Westwood and West Kildonan at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, Goldeyes can be found at the Henderson, St. James-Assiniboia and St. Vital branches and the main Millennium Library downtown, also starting at 11 a.m.
Pre-registration is required and can be done by contacting the host library.
