Police say they are looking for a lone suspect who shot three men Sunday night in Transcona.

The shooting — which happened after a suspect went up to the garage near a home on Lou Peltier Crescent — is not connected to an ongoing flare-up in the biker war, police said.

A 26-year-old man, a 30-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were sent to the hospital in critical condition, but have been upgraded to stable condition.

Police said the shooting does not appear to be random however, and two of three men who were shot are known by police.

Winnipeg Police Service spokeswoman Const. Natalie Aitken said police believe the shooter targeted the address or the victims, who were with a group of people at the home when it happened.

The Organized Crime Unit is asking for information about the shooting.
