Police investigating shooting on Aberdeen

Winnipeg police are investigating a shooting that took place early this morning in the city’s North End.

A man turned up at the door of a home in the 400 block of Aberdeen Avenue at around 4 a.m., asking that someone call an ambulance. It turned out that the man had been shot.

He was taken to hospital in stable condition. Police are trying to determine when and where the shooting took place. No arrests have been made.
