Sweet news for Big Sugar fans: the reunited band is coming to town.
The rock/blues/reggae group led by Gordie Johnson will play the Burton Cummings Theatre on Nov. 10 as part of its cross-country 2011 Revolution Per Minute tour in support of its new album, Revolution Per Minute. Wide Mouth Mason will serve as the opening act.
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday for $27.50 and $46 at Ticketmaster.
Big Sugar formed in Toronto in 1988 and released six full-length albums before splitting up in 2003. The group reunited last year and released Revolution Per Minute in June.
