The St. Boniface Hospital Foundation will launch the biggest lottery in its history this morning.
Details on the 2012 Mega Millions Choices Lottery will be announced at 11 a.m. at this year’s grand prize show home in Waverley West.
There will be nearly 5,000 prizes up for grabs, including two homes, vehicles, trips, recreational toys, electronics, an "ultimate sports package" and cash. The prizes are worth about $2.7 million in total.
Single tickets cost $100 while three tickets will set you back $250 and seven will go for $500.
The St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, which was founded in 1971, is the primary fundraising organization for the St. Boniface Hospital. It is dedicated to funding innovations in health research and patient care.
