Though the weather today will be nothing special with a high of 15 C, there is still sun expected and a UV index of 4, or moderate. The expected low tonight will be 6 C.
For Saturday and Sunday and into next week, the Environment Canada forecast is calling for temperatures twice as high as the normal for this time of year.
On Saturday, there will be a high of 25 C and a sunny but windy day is expected. A south wind at 20 km/h early in the day will increase to 40 and be gusting to 60 later in the morning but will become lighter later in the day.
On Sunday, more sun and a high of 27 C is expected with a low of 10 C.
As the new work week begins, the forecast calls for sunny days through Thursday.
Monday, a high of 24 and low of 12 are expected.
A high of 26 on Tuesday will bring a low of 8 that night.
On Wednesday, there will be a high of 24 and a low of nine.
Thursday’s high will be 25 with a low of 11.
