The Winnipeg Jets have signed veteran forward Trevor Lewis to a one-year contract.
Lewis, 34, will be paid $750,000 for the coming season. He attended Jets training camp on a professional tryout and earned himself a role on the club's opening-night roster.
He's expected to suit up in Thursday's home opener against the Calgary Flames.
Lewis has spent his entire 12-year NHL career with the Los Angeles Kings, which drafted him 17th overall in 2006.
The Salt Lake City native has 70 goals and 93 assists in 674 regular-season games.
