Manitoba's winter road system will soon be accessible to northern communities, Infrastructure Minister Ron Schuler announced Friday.
The Manitoba government is investing $9 million in the winter road system which spans nearly 2,400 kilometres. The system has allowed over 30,000 Manitobans in 22 communities to access supplies and essential goods since 1971.
A final timeline for construction completion is dependent on weather conditions. The complete list of the winter road system can be found on the province's website.
