The Winnipeg Ice announced the signing of three players on Monday who could play significant roles for the club during play in the WHL's East Division hub next month.
Two veteran overage players with significant major-junior experience, forward Anderson MacDonald and goaltender Carl Stankowski, are expected to attend training camp in Regina.
Winnipeg has also signed Brandt Young, an 18-year-old from Neepawa who played for the MJHL's Winnipeg Freeze earlier this season.
The East Division's Regina hub is slated to begin play March 12.
