Quebec's Cynthia St-Georges beat the Fleury Wild-card 1 team skipped by Chelsea Carey 8-7 to vault into a tie for first in Pool B at the Scotties national women's curling championship in Calgary Monday afternoon.
Both teams are 3-1.
Meanwhile, Manitoba's Jennifer Jones gave up two in the 10th to Saskatchewan's Sherry Anderson to lose 5-4.
Jones is 2-2 and sixth in Pool B while Anderson improved to 2-1 and fourth place.
