Another 15 Manitobans and a church in Hanover have been handed tickets for failing to follow public health orders meant to slow the spread of COVID-19.
In a release sent Tuesday morning, the provincial government said 17 tickets and 160 warnings were issued between Feb. 22 and 28.
Eight tickets were given to individuals, including seven related to gatherings at private residences or outdoors, and seven were handed out to people found not wearing a mask in an indoor public place.
Two $5,000 tickets were given to The Church of God (Restoration) Inc. in Sarto, Man., according to a provincial enforcement report.
Since last April, a total of 3,302 warnings and 1,009 tickets have been issued, resulting in more than $1.3 million in fines.
