The Louis Riel School Division has sent both Grade 7-12 students and caregivers a survey to collect feedback on its police-in-schools program.
LRSD has hired Fadi Ennab, an instructor of urban and inner-city studies at the University of Winnipeg, to conduct an equity-based review of the program.
Ennab created an online survey that was sent to families on Monday and will conduct one-on-one interviews and focus groups with community members between April and June.
The anonymous survey, which will remain open until April 19, can be completed in three to five minutes and is compatible with translation software.
A final report on the feedback collected will be released to the public this summer.
