Manitoba has reported 15 new deaths from COVID-19, bringing the province’s death toll to 1,928.
A total of 112 patients were admitted to hospital for COVID-19 from May 15 to 21, a decrease from 133 the previous week. Twenty-one patients were in intensive care.
Four outbreaks were reported at Winnipeg hospitals: three at Health Sciences Centre and one at Seven Oaks hospital.
Three outbreaks were reported in long-term care facilities: Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre, St. Norbert Personal Care Home and Whitemouth Personal Care Home.
The numbers were released in the province’s weekly COVID-19 update this morning.
