The Manitoba Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 Manitoba Business Awards finalists have been announced:

  • Long-Term Business Achievement in Winnipeg — Poulin’s Pest Control, StandardAero and Westeel.
  • Outstanding Small Business — Brandon Wheat Kings, Half Pints Brewing Company and Hemp Oil Canada.
  • Long-Term Business Achievement in Rural Manitoba — Elias Woodwork, Murray Automotive Group and Centre and Smooth Freight.
  • Outstanding Medium Business — Epic Information Systems, Gislason Taragownik and Peters and Tribal Wi-Chi-Way-Win Capital Corporation.
  • Outstanding Large Businesses — Bison Transport, Cargill Limited and Hylife Limited.
  • Lieutenant-Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Commitment to the Community, Individual — Greg Hanson.
  • Lieutenant-Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Commitment to the Community, Business — The Dufresne Group.

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Oct. 18.
