Now in his late seventies and living with Parkinson’s\, Robert is bringing the collection to readers in person\, travelling by train across the country with his daughter and granddaughter for a rare\, intimate reading tour. \nEach stop features live flamenco music and dance from Tamar Ilana (Robert’s daughter\, a nationally celebrated singer and dancer) and Lia Grainger (professional flamenco dancer and the book’s editor)\, performed in honour of the collection.\nRooted in his Cree-Saulteaux heritage\, Book of Love reads as much like prayer as desire — poems on intimacy\, memory\, and union\, unguarded and unlike anything you’ve heard at a reading before.
