You Fancy Yourself is a one-woman show about young girl who emigrates from Iceland to Edinburgh. The Sound of Your Eyes Closing, by Winnipeg playwright Steve Furmaniuk, is the story of an Icelandic immigrant and his teenage daughter in the wake of the death of her mother.

Between April 20 and 29, Pasta La Vista and 529 Wellington will feature a special Icelandic dinner menu created by award-winning Icelandic chef Hakon Mar Orvarsson and featuring such delicacies as salmon tartar, crispy cod, lamb and smoked eel.

The fixed-price dinner at Pasta La Vista (downtown and Kenaston locations) is $45 plus tax; at 529 Wellington the cost is $75 per person.
