A woman was pinned in her seat on a Winnipeg Transit bus and had to be freed by firefighters after a crash near the Northgate Shopping Centre.
An eastbound bus slid into the side of another bus on Mapleglen Drive, just west of McPhillips Street about 7:45 a.m. About 10 people are being treated for minor injuries.
No fewer than seven emergency vehicles responded to the crash, including the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service’s major incident response vehicle (MIRV). It responds when there is the potential for a large number of trauma victims.
