A Winnipeg man is facing charges following the theft of several catalytic converters from a business on Logan Avenue.
Police say a 43-year-old man was arrested Saturday at around 1:30 p.m. after a number of catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles at a fenced compound in the 1000-block of Logan.
The suspect allegedly broke into the compound and, using a reciprocating saw, removed the catalytic converters from several vehicles. Police say the thefts occurred between Saturday, July 14 and Saturday, July 21.
The suspect fled the scene on a scooter, and was arrested while operating it Saturday afternoon, according to police. He faces a number of charges, and remains in custody.
